Hybrid Global Inc.The OCLC Canada Symposium took place during the Canadian Library Association Annual Conference and Trade Show in Victoria in May 2014. OCLC Canada co-sponsors awards with Congres des milieux documentaires (CMD), OLITA and CLA, recognizing cutting-edge initiatives in the library community. This year’s Symposium featured presentations from three innovative, award-winning institutions and Hybrid Global Inc. is honoured to be one of them.
The Alberta Library (TAL), TAL Online’s Where Are You From (WAYF) Application, Interface & Administrative Panel, 2014 CLA/OCLC Award for Innovative Technology Recipient: Jason Openo, former Director of Planning & Program Development, The Alberta Library (now Manager, Teaching & Learning at Medicine Hat College), and Kristin Delwo, Managing Partner, Hybrid Global Inc., shared how WAYF was created in partnership with software developer Hybrid Global Inc. to facilitate resource sharing to TAL’s 49 member libraries, their multiple integrated library systems and interlibrary loan management software.
